shipping charge is way too high. this is a fairly small and light-weight vacuum --- it is not as big as an Electrolux.

I like that too, but I have too much stuff going on here at the moment. I didn't think it was anything like an Electrolux, but it doesn't have any runners, but I didn't care.

I just think it's neat. Looks like a canister vacuum crossed with an old Kodak "Brownie". I'm in the same boat; the last thing I need right now (just been told I need a new oil tank AND a new oil boiler) is another ebay purchase.

Yes, that has that "Brownie" look, I guess this must have been the model people bought when they couldn't shell out for the bigger tank. My main heating system is 9 years old, reverse cycle, you have my sympathy.

Bah my heating system is 30 years old and works fine ;p

We pretty well figure older things work better. We had two gas wall heaters when the house was built, Mom had the one taken out of the living room, and the one still in the hall would work after a good cleaning by the gas company. This house is 46 years old this year.
