That is indeed a beautiful machine. Interesting that it's in France but is configured for North American voltage (105-115v) instead of European voltage (220v).

thank you gsheen! I think this vacuum cleaner must have stayed in its box for a long time without being used. humain in france we had 110 volts until 1956 then very gradually we went from 110 to 220 then now 230 volts ! the United Kingdom went from 110 volts to 240 volts very early . Romain
