Hi Erik!
The Eureka Easy Glide upright was a lightweight vacuum - or more like Eureka's version of General Electric's electric carpet sweeper. Everything is contained in the base - the motor sucked in air through a tiny disposable dust-bag and the other end of the motor had a drive shaft to spin the brush roll.
The model seems to be Model 210 - which seemed to be retreating to the 200 series of model numbers that Eureka used for uprights in the early 1960's. I think this Easy Glide was sold in the late 1960's at the same time as the Eureka Emperor upright which was made for them by Panasonic in Japan. It could be that this electric carpet sweeper was also made by Panasonic - not sure.
Hope this helps!
