From what I can tell, these will match my Hoover U4047 perfectly. Maybe even the taupe color. What an absolutely amazing find to compliment my awesome like new Convertible I just bought that I have wanted for years ! ( I already bought them )
They are not friction fit accessories, if you look properly you can see the "pips" on the attachments - these are the "twist ring" type of attachments - unusual in a Consteallation but as this is a late model, perfectly possible
Unique 120-Volt Sanitaire canister made in West Germany!
I've been trying to figure out which German subsidiary of Electrolux would have made this for the Eureka division in North America. Electrolux had slapped the name "Eureka" on a few German "Progress" vacs for sale on our side of the Atlantic, so maybe this is a Progress vac?
Because the brandplate says "Made in West Germany," we can date this from betwee 1974 (the year Electrolux bought Eureka) and 1989/1990, the time when Germany reunited and the word "West" was no longer used.
Any ideas? Which model of Progress vac or AEG vac is this?
Wow. Quite an old beauty. Somewhere I have an original French ad for this machine.
This looks like one of the K-Mart Hoovers of the 80's/90's. I love the motor-hood color. Looks much like kirbykid's recent repaint project....
Thats a beautiful machine - the earliest one to bear the Kirby name as well. Its not you that selling it is it? I notice you are the Kirby are both in the same town - or are you bidding on it?
$2000 is a fair price for it, considering a new Kirby would cost more than this. The reserve must be set a hell of a lot lower than this though?
I am indeed selling it. The reserve is a lot less than $2000 yes. I just want a fir price for both buyer and seller on it. 2 hrs left and it is at $750. We shall see !!!
