EurekaPrince,,that Princess Model, the one that is 39.95,,,a relative of mine bought that exact model back in around 1972-73. I distintly remember the fake woodgrain top, and the red attachment holder that layed on the inside of the cannister.
They lived in a large farm house in West Central Wisconsin, and had NINE boys in the family,,nine brothers, one sister.
Of course this old farm house had mostly all worn out wall to wall carpet and wood floors.
This little Eureka Princess was a workhorse,,you can imagine cleaning up after 9 big burly farm guys every day,,comming in from the barn, fields, milkhouse, ect.
Besides running a large dairy farm, Those guys all played football, wrestled around, ect,,,all the time, so you can imagine how the carpet and floors in that house took a beating.
I know they had that Eureka for many yrs, and it never gave them any problems, and did last until after the boys were all grown and gone on their own.
I remember seeing it last about 25 yrs ago in the garage of the old farm house,,they were using it to clean out the cars. It was a little worse for the wear by then, but was STILL going.
