I have a vintage Connor canister vacuum. It dates to the early to mid 1950's. My father was an engineer, and at the beginning of his career he worked at Connor in Canada. He helped design this vacuum. He then moved to the states and worked for a major appliance manufacturer as a research engineer, and ended up with a lot of patents.

I would like to find someone who appreciates these vintage vacuums who would want it. My father clearly loved this vacuum, and kept it all of these years. It just seems wrong to donate it or throw it away.

Does anyone want it? It has the hose, attachments, etc.

I am in the Chicago area (western suburbs).

P.S. I can send photos - but I had trouble with the upload a JPEG link and couldn't include a photo with this post.

hose, wand, nozzle,

Or what if those are replacement?

You can never know in the field of vintage vacuums!

The only true way is to have a look at the builder's plate, likely located on the bottom of the canister.
