Our dear friend Kelly (Mixfinder on automaticwasher.org and R2D2 here on Vacuumland) passed away today after a long battle with illness. He fought bravely and it is with great sadness we pay tribute to his memory and assuage our grief and loss with the memory of his joyous spirit that will stay with us always.

Fred and I are both saddened greatly to hear this news, Kelly was dearly loved by everyone here at Vacuumland and on aw.org. We can take comfort in knowing that Terry was waiting to meet Kelly with some fresh baked goods.

Rest in Peace Kelly, thank you so much for bringing so much joy and happiness to our community, we will never forget you, ever.

I'm posting this in Vintage and Imperial as a tribute to our great friend.

Ben....

No, Kelly's name is Kelly Beard, I am very saddened to hear if his passing. I acquired an Electrolux Model G from him not too long ago and we were discussing his illness then, he was aware how gravely ill he was, but had made peace with it. I considered him a friend, and he will be sorely missed.

My sincere sympathy...

To all his family and friends. I didn't know him personally, but have read his informative posts in the past and enjoyed them very much. Robert and Fred my heartfelt sympathy goes out to you as well. So sorry for your loss.

Sincerely,

Bud Mattingly

Robert, Fred, and all of Kelly's friends...............

Kelly and I developed an email relationship after Terry died. I sent him one of Terry's coffee pots and he was quite touched. After that, like I said, we emailed and talked a lot about Terry.

I knew he was ill but did not know the gravity of his condition and would never ask. Terry had told me about him and that he had been ill for sometime.

Anyway, Terry-on Kelly! Make sure to tell the old boy we said hello. We will miss you both but you will live on in our hearts. I hope you are both baking a cake and making some coffee...............
