In the season of giving, I found this DVD from 2004 that was available to members at the 2004 convention. I burned it to my computer, then uploaded to YouTube and pasted the link here. It is apporox. 25 minutes long.

It is a collection of photos of vacuums and members from four different conventions and several mini-meets. Many of the newer members will not recognize the folks from days gone by. The vacuum pics and number of them for reference and viewing are wonderful.

For older members still viewing this site, you will see some familiar faces, (including co-founder John Lucia), and recognize some of our members that have passed on including: Terry Lattz, Mark Thomas, Ron Jones, David Mick, Stan Hagen, Brother Christopher Lambert, Honorary Member Don Clark and most recently Charles Miller.

In this season of, "Good Tidings To All", and, "Comfort and Joy", lets please refrain from any snarky comments about the video, pictures, people in the pictures, quality and number of pictures, music used, length of video, etc. Just enjoy.

Thank You for posting this Charlie. I was at the Hoover Historical, but not that year. Still brings back memories. Very much appreciate your time and effort to produce this.

Just so everyone knows, a video company did the transfer of the pictures to the DVD and added the music I requested. This was all done in 2004 so the discs were available for the members at the 2004 convention.

Hans, we all looked quite different! But better now don't you think?

It really is amazing to see some of these people all these years back. Some of these pictures are as old as I! It's amazing to see how much fun everybody had, and of course all the sweepers! I know for a fact the Hoover 150 Mr Watrous is seen using now sits upstairs, in my bedroom.

Wow, that was so much fun, Charlie. And, touching too. Some of those folks have gone to vacuum heaven. Merry Christmas to you, and thanks for doing this.

Thanks, Charlie!

Was great to see so many friendly faces. THhre are some whom I know well, some I've heard about, some whom I don't know at all. It's great to see so many vacuum people all together having a good time.

Bette is so right: "You've gotta have friends". This is why one should consider joining our V.C.C.C. The pictures speak for themselves.

Rick,

That video was made before the VCCC found you or you found the VCCC!

I should add that five former VCCC presidents can be seen in it.

Hope you had a great birthday...............let's see, are you up to 39 or 40 now?
