Thanks for that. I thought the Globe was supposed to be the Slalom's successor - there seems to be a drop in power as well as load of inaccuracies - the Slalom hose is about 4 metres when fully stretched.

Well Hoover seem to have a fair few older models on their Limited Stock page but I am thinking about buying their Floor Polisher.
