Vax Zoom Range

I received an email this morning - despite me being unsubscribed from Vax UK for more than a year - they continue to send me emails about their new ranges. Possibly then as a rival to Hoover's colourful budget range, the Jazz uprights, Vax have produced a colourful range called "Zoom." Taken from the email:

"...Zoom, is set to be exclusively available through Argos stores, and this colourful cleaner has models to suit most households, with family and pet versions as well as a reach model for convenient cleaning. It is also available in Upright and Cylinder versions..."

Having a look at the image supplied in the email, the filter on this model is very small - perhaps the end of paper pleated cones unless its just a micro version.

MM it seems Argos already have most of the range in with the uprights too:

406/8615: Family & Pets model in Turquoise blue. £149-99 highest price
406/8608: Reach model in purple.
406/8958: Pets model in light green.
406/8581: Base model in pink. £69-99 base price

Going by the cheap prices for this "new" range, it looks like Vax have fashioned the handle from the Vax Mach Air range to sustain the promise of "The easy to handle design means this vacuum 'zooms' round your house with ease."

The Zoom Reach model at £129-99 has a 10 metre length cable which is a bit of a bonus!
