valley center grage sale weekend

hey all,

that time of year came again, yes garage sale weekend for valley center kansas...... and i fonud two things, a 1986 white kenmore
powermate canister for free. the man who had it said it wouldnt run, all it needed was a new plug. otherwise its in perfect condition. secont is a panasonic 6220 WITH the three speed control. all it needed was a pair of new belts. that cost $3.00.

Of corse Im drooling over the Kenmore. did the hose come with it also?
The Panasonic looks nice to, and 3 speed with brushroll turn off is a TOL model.It looks 1988 ish to me. Congrats on your new toys =)

yes it did come with a hose.......

and strange enough, its in perfect condition, no splits or tape.
and i know for a fact its the original.

No too strange. That was just before they changed to the gray hose wich was/is more likely to crack. Although most Kenmore hoses get the "stress" creases or cracks near the handle. As do some Hoovers. Eureka's hoses didnt split quite as much for some reason.
