Valentine gift 505

You know, I used to hate Valentine’s Day, but I think after having received this I can get used to it. My dream machine... 505.

Wow - that is one beauty queen - someone loves you for sure!
She does not appear to need anything either, except some loving use around the house.
I have a 505 also but all the trim is red from a distant rebuild. Looks nice after restoring it, but I like the original black much better. I dig that big black bag on yours...

I take it you found one. My 505 I found the copper pin just like pictured. It is nice. Maybe later in spring I'll try to have both of my 505s finished. Very nice congrats.

A partner eh. Well I'm jealous and hope enjoy vacuum.
The bag topper was originally coated in black. If you dip one in plasti dip it works good but also royal bag toppers dipped in plasti dip really close to looking original in case you were wondering.

Wow! You are so very fortunate indeed. That is a gorgeous 505 that any collector would be very proud to have in their collection. It always does my heart good to see a old Kirby like yours survive and cared for.
