Hi! It’s been a while since I posted on here. I been saving up to buy a brand new vacuum. The thing is I’m not to sure on the one I should get. Been considering the sebo x7 but I have the x4 already. I been really interested in the new oreck elevate series. I am also interested in a new Miele. I have a older model of one. What do you guys think? Any other recommendations besides the ones that I have in mind?

Miele!

It sounds like you already have some Sebos. Get yourself a nice Miele. I'm not good with their model numbers. However, they have a navy blue fully featured canister with SEB236 power head. It looks gorgeous and it's on my want list someday.

Mieles are great canisters.. powerful airflow and suction, deep cleaning brush roll which you can see and feel the agitation, sealed systems and quiet.

Miele or Sebo

You didn't say if you wanted a canister or upright, I would suggest a canister but it's personal preference. Miele and Sebo are probably two of the best brands available. I'm not sure what the differences are between the X4 and X7, if you want an upright I would definitely suggest the Sebo Felix, that is probably the best upright that is currently available.

On thing to keep in mind is what kind of surfaces you will be cleaning.

Also How often you clean those surfaces is a huge consideration in choosing a vacuum that will be one you enjoy using instead of dreading.

Uprights and canister vacuums have their place in the cleaning arsenal.

Uprights primary function is for carpeted surfaces. For above floor or hard surfaces aren't always the best choice.

Canister vacuums lend themselves well to above floor cleaning tasks as well as hard floors. Some are not always well suited to plush carpet.

You defiantly want some thing with good air flow combined with good suction power. Also easy to maintain and use.

In the final analysis it comes down to what lends itself best to your particular cleaning needs.

The difference between the x 7 and the X4 is so miniscule. If you don't have an Oreck xl21 definitely consider getting something in that Family new or used.

It never hurts to own a Numatic either.

I decided to go with oreck. I only have one in my collection. I chose the oreck magnesium. It was on clearance for $190 at my Walmart. I really like it but the headlight dose nothing

D yo u have mainly bare floor or carpets or a mix of both ?
Im partial to canisters i see am asa good all around machine nota fan of miele get ya self a good Tristar cxl or exl you won regret it.
But if you going for MIELE id say a good cat dog machine whit a electric pn for rugs .

Id

Say get your money back. I'd then suggest the Riccar supralite 10a. It had the lifetime belt metal brush roll. It's better in almost every facet of vacuuming.
