Well, for me its been a long winter and spring. I've been changing jobs and trying to make things settle down. Finally, my wife and I were able to go out "junking" and hit our usual haunts. I did pretty well in the vacuum area. Here is a summary shot of most of what I got this past week. I guess the most rarest find it the Rexaire Model B with hose and some original tools. I finally found a nice, blue Electrolux XXX with the same vinyl covering as the LX. It needs a cord, but I plan on using the cordwinder from one of the other 30's in this picture. All vacs run. Some will be parts, some will be daily drivers and some will be restored. Not pictured is a Regina Electrik Broom with a metal housing. I just forgot to set it out there for the picture. Hope you all enjoy the pic.

Nice vac's

Ill think u will enjoy the Hoover 1076 convertible...i love mine to death! and the simplicity and the sharp are great daily drivers!

Congrats on finding the elusive blue Electrolux XXX with the same vinyl covering as the LX. Looking for that same version myself. Quite right, it deserves a chrome cordwinder. :-)

And lovely brown bakelite Hoover upright - I know not what model # it is just this minute.

Joe, Congrats on your finds. I have a Sharp twin Fan. I have been using while waiting on parts for my Kirby Heritage II. The Sharp is a great machine for a daily driver. I would
like to find a Simplicity to play with. My friend Ed, a vac
shop owner sells the heck out of them. He is gettingg $999.00
for the new top of the line machine here in columbus. Trading
in 3/5 year old Dyson's on the new Simplicity. Of course Ed
is an old Lux career guy. Sold lux for 35/40 years.
Looking forward to seeing you at the convention.
Norm
