We started the convention with Breakfast at Tuggie and Joe's in St. James. Best hashbrowns in the state.

Then, onto the VACUUM CLEANER MUSEUM.

Here is Chris from Ohio and Bob from St. Louis exchanging Rainbow Chrome Domes. Bob had the copper model D2 but wanted Chris's chocolate brown D2. A swap was made.

Evan Roger's Collection

We visited Evan Roger's home to see his vacuum display. Evan purchased my existing Vacuum Stores (the Vac Shack) in Festus, Missouri when the Vacuum Cleaner Museum opened almost six years ago.

This is making me think of "Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory"--especially that line about "so little time". I think Willy Wonka says in the movie, "So much time and so little to do" before he corrects himself. True, "Tom Gasko and The Vacuum Factory" doesn't include countless forms of chocolate, golden tickets, an indoor river with a boat, or a "Gaskovator"; and I don't think Tom walks around singing and wearing a a tux with a top hat, but the magic is still there with all those vacuum cleaners and vacuum cleaner accessories along with the factory workers.

I would like to suggest, though, that Tom take a trip to some remote island and rescue some tiny people which he could bring to the factory and hire as "Vacuum-loompus" and teach them to sing "Vacuum-loompu doopity-do, I've got another riddle for you...". Also, thought might be given to pocket-sized chocolate vacuum cleaners, fizzy lifting drinks, Everlasting Vacuumstoppers, Gasko-vision, and lickable wallpaper ... ok, now I'm just getting goofy!
