On January 2nd, 1983, I sent out the first issue of our newsletter, and continued to do so until May of 95.  The full story is in the archives, see "V.C.C.C. turns 30" here in Vintage. But here's the story in a nutshell.

In 1981 John Lucia contacted the Hoover Historical Center, seeking information on the models 150 and 700, and Stacy Krammes forwarded his letter to me.  The following year he and I went to Hoover, and the result was the V.C.C.C..

There are many people to thank but for right now let me simply say,

Thank You John Lucia.

Happy Birthday VCCC! If it weren't for the Founding Fathers, we may not have had Vacuumland to play in!!!! Many thanks to all those who volunteered, and are volunteering, their time to give us all a safe space to share our unique hobby....
