I was watching murder she wrote there was a hoover lark sitting on a porch episode with Tess Harper. Then in another episode Jessica was using a d80 kirby.Any you have seen lately.
Oddly enough, I happened to catch this Hoover Convertible/Model 34 on a 1966 episode of THE LAWRENCE WELK SHOW.
I'm wondering if anyone knows if the show PAWN STARS has ever featured a vintage vac. I'd like to hear their reaction to one would be along with its perceived value.
There were loads of vacuums in One Foot In The Grave. Victor & Margaret had 2 Turbopower's (U2336 & a U2602), a Henry, a DC01 and a Hoover Compact. Mrs. Warboys had a Lux Twin Turbo Z1010 and Patrick & Pippa had a Lux Microlite
I recently acquired the first season of Mission: Impossible on DVD and the epsiode "A Spool There Was" opens with a hotel maid, who turns out to be Dan Briggs' (forerunner of Jim Phelps) contact, vacuuming a corridor with a '50s vintage Hoover. I tried to take screen shots but the computer wouldn't let me. They just came out as gray squares. If you can get your hands on the DVDs, it's disc 3, episode 1
On my Mac, I paused the DVD at the appropriate moment and used the screen capture function (cmd + option + 3) to capture the screen image. The entire screen was captured except the interior of the DVD Player window, which was grayed out.

Sergeant Friday and Officer Smith are unable to hear the hotel desk clerk due to the noise of the Electrolux USA model LX - or so they thought. It turns out that the man was hard of hearing. Officer Smith comments that he wishes he had such a cleaner that sounded as well.
But, there were others on the show.
Once, "Chrissy" ran a Commercial.... bag not inflated, etc.
They must have removed the motor, as, she moved it very easily. We all know how heavy those things are.
