I have always been a big GE fan and today's vac of the day is one I have never seen before. Very interesting design. Does anyone know if there was attachments for that machine and how they would connect?
This seems to be their most deluxe older upright.I have one(vac only)and although many GE uprights could use atts I don't think this one did.GE(&Premier)along with Singer and others would often offer a hand vac to use along with the upright.
The GE model 111, The Singer R-1, and the Premier Grand were all really the same machine, made by The Electric Sweeper Corporation (General Electric). All have Backwards Revolving Brush Rolls (so they don't seize the fringe of wool rugs). Use a Hoover Elite belt as a replacement. No attachments were ever offered, the Hand Vac was considered better than a hose and attachments (at that time).
