Dear members of Vacuumland,
after being a silent follower for years I have finally grabbed myself a heart and signed up.
I've recently bought a Floor Pro 1522 and had it shipped all the way over to Germany. The only dry foam shampoos available here are the ones made by Kirby. After having done extensive research in this forum as well as the internet, I figured out that the dilution ratio should be the same with both the Aerus/Elux Turbo Shampoo and the Kirby Shampoo: 2oz per 1 pint of water. Is that correct?
Well, I've tried this ratio today on a small carpet and I was not too impressed with the foam. It seemed to be too wet/liquid. As many of you did point out to have achieved good results by using Kirby shampoo with an Electrolux shampooer, what advice do you have in store for me?
Thanks a lot in advance for your kind help - happy vacuuming.
BTW, as there are many lads around with extensive knowledge on European brands such as Miele or SEBO, I might help you with information on Vorwerk machines, as they have been my center of interest for the past 30 years. As I am not too fond of their current lineup, I have opened up to other brands, espeically Shark and Aerus/Elux.
