The Thunder arrived today to discover to my shock that someone sucked up water with it as there was mud in the bottom of the dirt cup, it came apart and went in to my trusty Kitchenaid Dishwasher that's used as a parts washer. The motor spins freely and I don't believe water had gotten to it, but I want to disassemble it to clean the fans. How do I get the fan case off without ruining it? And how do I remove the cyclone assembly from the body to clean it? Also how are all the wires supposed to go back in the terminal clock? I took pictures befor disconnecting everything but they aren't very clear.

Update Part #2

The Thunder is making a full recovery. I found a NOS motor to replace the one that did burn up when I was bench testing it.
