Interesting. Looks as if Hoover utilized the same method of keeping the handle together as their canister wands.

I think "Quik-Broom" is a bit of a clue...
It's a stick vac.

I have a similar one to yours, but the nozzle broke on it, so I had to get an adapter from my parts supplier and replace the nozzle with a generic one.</span>

my grandma had one of those in a tan color. I was always fascinated with the floor nozzle on that model. As I recall they take a bag that fits into a "cassette" that fits into the cleaner.

I believe '80's was the swansong for this model, by the '90's the Hoover Quick broom had a reuseable dust cup more like the Regina. IIRC, there was even a Quick Broom in beige that had a full bag indicator. Also, wasn't there a Quick Broom with a powernozzle? That must have cleaned fairly well.

QuikBroom with Power Nozzle

Natch, it would have been the TOL model for its time. And, it seems to be something of a rarity because I haven't seen a single one ANYWHERE since they first came out!</span>

The Cassette bags are right; I have a pack of bags for them somewhere and that always struck me as strange.
