I absolutely love those Electrolux bagged uprights Since we got rid of ours very once or twice a week I have dreams about them I really want one :)

I've lurked here for a while, this is my first post. These are great, I will have been 8/9 when these were around. The Goblin Aztecs and Electrolux Mondos bring back memories, and that DC04 Zorbster.

The yellow/black Goblin Ace on the first page was the first I owned back then, except mine was an 1100 rather than 1300. Still going like a champ today.

I have a lot of archived Argos catalogues from the 80s/90s - I must get around to uploading them at some point.

Welcome to Vacuumland! Please do upload - you'd be more than welcomed! Do a Google search first though (whichever catalogue branding you are looking for and then the name of vacuumland) as there might be catalogue scans on here already - the webmaster has kindly allowed archived threads.

Hi Adam,

Welcome aboard! Where abouts in the north east are you? There's a few collectors around that neck of the woods now.

Please do share what you've got, it would be much appreciated. Like you, I grew up in the 90's, which really was the peak for Argos. Flicking through Argos and Index catalogues was one of my favourite things.

There's another thread I posted a while back with loads of Argos catalogues in it, feel free to have a nosey at those. Link below.

Thanks, sorry for the slow reply.

I'm from Teesside, but I travel about the area a bit as I work near Newcastle.

I've had a quick look through your thread previously, some really good stuff. And yeah as you say, I used to enjoy the new Argos catalogues coming out and having a look through.

I've started sorting mine out now, I'll try and take out any that have already been posted up. I have from 1973-2000.
