Has anyone seen the new Dirt Devil RoomMate? I was looking at Amazon and came across it. It says ideal for hard surfaces so Im thinking it may not have a brushroll, but then again mabe it does have one to rotae with the side brushes. The side brushes don't look very effective, they kinda remind me of false eyelashes lol.

I've not seen that, but I did see the Whiskers bare floor cleaner on Youtube.

Please don't tell me they are recycling names again! So, now we have, 2 kinds of dirt devil roomates, 2 dirt devil broom vacs, 2 bissell big greens, 2 bissell pro lites.... all completely different machines with recycled names... I'm sure there are more that I didn't think of.. this is getting old! If it was just a new model of the same machine, I could understand, but to be a whole different thing is just ridiculous!

I actually own the Whiskers, and its good but NOT great and no brushes (on both vacs)

I saw that on HSN at least they didnt try to make it for carpet and the lady stressed that is only for hard floors.

I just watched the Whiskers video. It seems to be effective, the "whiskers" look better on video than the pictures. From the pictures they looke a little to soft.

Well...

The "Whiskers" are actually soft to the touch but when spun fast, are effective...
