Wow....you are lucky to have those...

Those are great machines Charles. How old was the wax/cleaner you put on floor?

Hi David, It's Beautiflor wax - the graphics from that particular can put it around the late 1940s. But the wax is still good, still smells the same, and still does a great job of polishing floors!

Great videos Charles, The wood floor looked beautiful when you finished. Did you then use a buffing pad to bring up even more shine? Just wondering too, what belt did you use on the 105 .

I don't have buffing pads for the JW polisher, but do have lambs' wool pads for my air-powered Electrolux polisher, so that's what I finished with.

For the 105, I used a stretched-out Eureka Sanitaire belt. I slid the belt down around a glass gallon jug [no easy job mind you!], and left it there for a week until it had really stretched out. This is not an ideal replacement since the 105 belt was slightly larger in diameter and rather narrower in thickness than the Sanitaire belt, but it works okay. You just have to make sure the belt is really stretched out, or it will put too much pressure on the 105 motor and mess up the bearings.
