These were found at two different Goodwill stores within one hour.

I had admired this model in someones collection before. Supremacy!

Nice Finds, David!

I think the Dual-Voltage machines were generally sold to Military families who would go back and forth overseas... I know Tom Anderson has one of those cleaners.

The Supremacy Decade-80 sure is pretty!

Yay for good days at GoodWill!

Hey...nice Hoover cleaners. The burgundy Supremacy was sold through vac shops and they turn up once in awhile around here. I do have the Dual Voltage too. Odd thing...mine is the same model number but my serial number is 069300001268. Which means that mine was built earlier but with a higher serial number. Yours is built later but with a lower number??? Any ideas out there in Vacuumland?

Thanks for the comments, guys.

OMG that is a stunning brochure, Jeff. The u4719 looks fabulous with that black-painted handle. I usually hate that hood shape, but this one looks really good.

I have a supremacy

upright model U4721-900 its like new. I also have a coustomer that has a supremacy canister model s3623 she brings it in for service every two years. its still in good shape.

Guys...

Don't know if some of you know this but the serial numbers in "newer" Hoovers incorporates the manufacturing date. For example, in Brett S's Hoover with serial number 079400001111, the date of manufacture was July 1994. Hoover started using the month and year in the MMYY portion of the code which was the first four numbers.

If I am wrong, will the experts please correct me?

What wonderful, unusual cleaners! I've not seen dual voltage or the unusual wattage previously either. Supre(macy) was once the private label brand of Macy's, who sold a Royal derivative under that name. That of course would have been long before this Hoover line.
