My dad found me this Filter Queen 31 and Regina Floor Cleaner today in an old basement. This is the picture he sent me. I'll try to upload some more tomorrow night. He said the filter queen works and came with all of the "papers". The lady said it belonged to her mother and had been sitting in her basement for a very long time. I have way to many Filter Queen 31s now... I don't know anything about the Regina other than that it is going to need a big cleaning! Along with the Filter Queen!

i have a ....

turquoise version of that Regina, except mines a lower end model, i say that because yours has that big solution tank, mine has a small removable tank, those are very good floor machines and especially for carpet shampooing (that what those white plastic brushes with the short bristles are for). id say mine and your are from the mid 60's, ive also seen one more that was a metallic blue color....

ill post a pic of mine.....

The FQ Mod31's were used a lot in vac shops for cleaning out vacs customers bring in for service.I have one from one of the vac shops here-its old and really beat up,has a replacement hose-but sort of special since the previous owner of it has died-I keep it as a memorial to him.former Vacuum Cleaner Hospital owner.I cleaned out the stuff that was in it with my M1 and replaced the filters and cone. The little thing still works-beleive before Bill died he said the machine has a second motor.

It actually looks like a rainbow hose. The 33 hose was a dark brown similar to a kirby classic hose.

I have seen many retrofitted rainbow hoses on filter queens.

It's not a Rainbow hose. Every single Filter Queen 31 I have gotten, besides one, has had this exact hose. So it's definitely a genuine Filter Queen hose..

The ones I have seen had to be. Each end of the hose had rainbow ends with a filter queen adaptor to connect to the machine.

They must have because the ones I have have no adaptors, it has the Filter Queen Ends and they say Filter Queen on them. Who knows I guess!

Here is the Filter Queen. It runs pretty good, but the bearings could use a greasing. The attachment crown is from a D31X, along with the crevice tool, metal floor tool, and I'm pretty sure the hose, because there was a straight suction hose sold with the chrome 33 and the D31x. It came with two packages of cones, one unopened, 4 motor filters, and a few pamphlets. Overall, it's in decent shape, but within the next few weeks I'll be giving it a deep cleaning.

Jason,

I am thinking that yours is the BOL model to mine as well. I fired it up for the first time tonight a few minutes ago, and it definitely runs! I am not sure how to use all of these brushes that it came with though. But I think that it might clean up pretty good!
