Just got this old vacuum I know nothing about. Looks to be in very good working order with all attachments. Including a paint sprayer! Could anybody give an idea of what year it is from and what it could be worth? Thank in advance!

old vac

The Lewyt chest would have come with a Lewyt canister of about the mid 50s.The tank vac would be closer to 1970?.It seems to be in very good and complete condition which might add value to a collector.Others should know more.

Metropolitan Vacuum in Suffern, New York still builds the Turbotronic today.

They started life rebuilding Electrolux cleaners that the salesmen traded in- and sold them to retail stores and catalog stores in the 60's and 70's. Today, they make several styles of the Turbotronic.

If you contact Metropolitan you can obtain parts, bags, and information.
