Hi guys,
Well I've decided to sell my 2006 Stainless Steel Hoover Constellation canister vac. I am not happy with the exhaust blowing out of the bottom and will be looking for an "up-blowing" canister vac to replace it. I also find that 12 amps is far too much power needed for a canister and I want to reduce my electricity bills as much as possible. I find that I constantly feel rushed using it knowing how much electricity it is drawing.
Before I try to sell it in my highrise apartment building, I wanted to know if any friends here at Vacuumland would like to buy it. It's in very good shape, since I took care of it very well. I even have genuine Hoover Style "S" Hepa bags for it. It's turbo carpet nozzle is actually quite amazing.
I would prefer not to have to pack this up for shipping (since I don't think I could pack this very well). So I would love to find someone who may be passing through Toronto in the next month or two so that I could just hand it over to them in person.
It cost me $200 Canadian with tax in 2008 from The Bay department store, so I would be happy with half that amount.
If anyone is interested, please email me at [email protected]. I would love to give this little "replica of the past" to a good home where it would be appreciated and enjoyed - rather than just used and thrown in the closet.
Looking forward to hearing from those interested!
