Picked one up at the Gwill.

Says distributed by Tri Star.

Thing is its a steam cleaner.

Is it dangerous?

Found some info that old ones can explode & burn you.

This one has its instructions with a 2001 date.

Its made in Taiwan.

Was hoping to clean & sanitize with it.

Want to try it but now I am afraid.
Hoses could get old.

Its the yellow one & sort of looks like the old tristars

it works

nothing seems to leak at hoses & wands.
Scary thing. no button to spray steam
it just comes out.

For $20 I have been looking for a steam machine & its better than shark
I would assume Tri Star would handle a better producr,
Says designed in Germany

I had one, found it for $2.00 at a sale. Needed something at the time for steaming off some old wallpaper so took a chance on it, it did the trick and worked well for cleaning also.

The cork? gasket on the fill cap finally went and it would not seal tight, shooting steam out everywhere once it got up to temp. I couldn't find a replacement anywhere at the time. Other than that I didn't have any problems with it.
