Tristar Question

Hi all is there a way to find the year of production by the serial number ?

If it is a Tristar, the first two numbers indicate the year of production. Although, I'm not sure that's true for Tristars that are made by the Aeurs (Electrolux) Company. Also, that doesn't work for Compact.

It looks like my Tristar was built during 1988,with its fresh paint and new motor this machine looks and runs like new.
