WHO SELLS motors that is cheap and i can trust? my sweeper died, i bought another cxl off ebay and they sold it making noise, that died in a couple weeks. im on retirement ,cant afford ripoffs . the 2nd sweeper was same as first, it shows blue flame in blower port back of sweeper and terrible scratchy noise ,had to shut off immediately.i want to try replacing motor myself [ i am woman].is there anyone trustable and not expensive where i can get tristar motor? thanku

Hi I have changed out several motors for the burgundy tristar as a recall there is a two speed switch on that model and the motor has five wires coming off the motor.I recommend a Ametek lamb motor model 115923, this motor has wonderful performance and because it has two motor leads it is simple to install I have the wiring diagram if you need it. The only difference in your machine will be it will now be a single speed but the performance will be greater then the original motor. not many people use low speed anyhow. but will that powerhead work ok ? who sells motors that is a trustworthy person. i was ripped off once on ebay buying the whole sweeper and it died fast.

You can buy motors off Ebay but purchase new not used most sellers of new parts will warranty there products.
