I have pretty much finished polishing the case with decent results.
the tab I made for the yoke works however anytime I want to take the handle pin out it would have to be reset so will leave it out meantime.

The corrugated hose inside the bag was `ripped` so until I get a replacement I decided to sew it together then tape over and then another piece of latex glued to the repair, its actually quite solid and I doubt it will come apart anytime soon.

Now my main problem....getting the cloth bag back on to the emptor, I am struggling with that, unlike the G series the trad is spring loaded and I cannot muster the strength to stretch it (so far) any ideas for this?

If the bag goes on like a Heritage II, Then I just use a screwdriver to pry it up onto the Em-Tor.

I had already tried using screwdrivers and loads more to no avail, however your phrase `up and over` prompted me to rethink, I had been trying from the outside as in using tire levers on a bicycle, so then tried from the inside and managed it at first attempt with a couple of screwdrivers.

Try using 2 screwdrivers. Have one screw driver hold starting point of the bag. As you circle around emtor pull piece by piece. If you have ever put a bike tire on this is the same concept.

I find it best to install the bag with no tools. ROLL the bottom bag spring onto the emtor, rather than trying to pry it.
See reply 2 of the thread below and look at the pictures for an ideal holding position. I did 6 or more of these this way with no issues.

Clever hose repair. Never thought about stitching a broken hose together. I would add, if you fill a couple ridges before and after the break with silicone, then tape over that, would be a semi-permanent repair. Would have mechanical strength from the stitches, and air tight seal from the silicone.

I did try and couldn’t do it only when using the screwdrivers from the inside did it work.

Tried this several times and failed, this morning my shoulders ache and my finger tips are painful with all the pressure. Honestly I was at it all day trying to get the bag back on.

I used fishing line for the stitching.

Wow - sorry to hear about the pain from that bag! If you lived a bit it closer I would be more than happy to do it for ya. )
I do not consider myself a muscular guy, just quite capable, especially due to pain issues I am plagued with.
If you had someone to old the emtor still, it would be even easier (I had to hold mine with my feet). Back part of the bag/spring goes on. Then hold it in place with your pinkies pushing down and into the emtor, then your ring fingers further forward, then your middles, and your indexes will pull the bag forward as you roll the spring down with all fingers(the index doing the most work). Thumbs will be putting inward pressure on the emtor the whole time to hold your hands in place as you close your grip, pulling your fingers down along with the bag.
Your shoulders should not have even been used much for this maneuver.

Hope I described it right, as I have not done any for a while and have no more machines to try it on (not in a hurry to get more either). I wish I had recorded a video when I did one of these!
Don't give up - you will get it!

As I mentioned in previous post I did eventually get it with levering on from inside the bag which was relatively easy.
The shoulder pains came from recovering `frozen shoulders` although that should ease off after a couple of days.
