After nearly four months.... My Tradition is FINALLY DONE! This was my first restoration project I didn't get into taking apart the motor and stuff, because 1)I'm not smart enough to take it apart to that extent.
And, 2) Because the motor is just fine. Doesn't need new bearings, carbon brushes, etc.
The power is out at my house so I cant turn on the lights to take the picture.When it comes back on Ill definitely post some pictures!
Here's some of the things I restored:
-Fixed stuck zipper on bag. (That was probably the hardest part of the resto!)
-Gave bag a MAJOR cleaning. (And you all know how long it took for me to finally get that @#$% bag on!)
-Replaced brushroll.
-Gave the fan case a major cleaning. (Blech! I should have taken some pics of it!)
-Gave it a good polishing.
-And last but not least, I put in a new lightbulb.
Ill definitely be posting some before & after pics once the power comes back on!
