I have a bag for a Hoover model 800 that is in descent shape. There is a very small hole at the top of the bag near where the spreader attaches. It can be easily repaired. I would like to trade it for a Hoover model 700 bag that is in descent shape. If you have a model 700 bag that you are willing to trade please post a picture of the bag so I can see its condition. A picture of my model 800 bag is below.

That's actually NOT a model 800 bag. While the graphics are certainly the same, this is a replacement bag made for models 700 and earlier. Note that there's no slide for top emptying (which began on the model 725). Hoover continued to make cloth bags for their older machines, using the graphics for current cleaners. A Hoover Service Center would have installed that bag on any Hoover made after 1914 through the end of 1929.

Thank you for letting me know! I knew that they installed bags like this as replacements but I wasnt sure if this was one of those or not. Thanks for the clarification!
