Hello friends! congratulations for this beautiful forum. I have seen some very interesting photos on your collections!
I own a Tornado Magic One, model from 2003, and I would like to ask if anyone knows any clones of this model or a similar vacuum cleaner. it is a very good product, even if in my opinion not very powerful (only 450w and 74mbar suction!)
There isn't much on the net.

Tornado is a very famous brand in Italy since the 50s

I've heard of Tornado but never really gotten familiar with them.

That power nozzle is a Italian made Ghibli/Tecnica nozzle. Very popular among Italian vacs.

Ghibli

Makes a version of the compact pig and their version isn't quite as reliable. They make answer vacuum that looks really cool but I've not heard anything else.

at home I have two Tornado: Tornado Elemo (from 1976 but bought in 1993) and Tornado Magic One from 2003 which is similar to the 1997 model. Tornado produces very good and resistant machines, but in the latest version of Magic One I remained a little disappointed with the suction power which remained the same as the 1976 version.
I asked you if there is a clone of this vacuum cleaner because I can't find spare parts, especially brushes

Vi allego una foto con i vari modelli di Tornado

U.S. Tornado brand

The Tornado brand in the United States has no connection to the Italian company of the same name. It was a brand introduced by the Breuer Electric Company in 1938.

Breuer Electric specialized in commercial equipment, and the Tornado brand remains a leader today in that arena. Owned by the Breuer family until 1999, the company was sold in 1999 to a team of executives, and the name of the company formally changed to Tornado Industries, Inc.

In 2007, Tacony Corp. bought the company, and Tornado remains a Tacony brand to this day.

Have you ever seen a very old 1920 Air-Way Sanitary System upright? It's obvious where the idea for the Tornado and Vorwerk design came from. Not only did Air-Way invent that type of vacuum, they also invented the power nozzle for it. As well as the world's first disposable bag. The Air-Way in this picture is my personal machine.

In some countries such as Germany or Switzerland, some models similar to the Vorwerk “Folletto” have the name and logo of the Tornado
