Great taste.......

<span style="font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;">You are right, John.......</span>

<span style="font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;">Between the Hoover in the foreground and the Lenox in the background, there's a lot of good taste.</span>

<span style="font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;">Now, my taste in husbands leaves a bit to be desired, don't you think?</span>

Shop Vac...

I haven't vacuumed any today but last night's driver of choice was my Dayton wet/dry shop vac. Best tool for the job when the toilet overflows. At least this time I remembered to pull out the paper filter before I started. The only problem was I had to excavate it from the back of the barn where it had sat buried for several years. It took me way longer than it did to clean up the mess, but in the process, I found a couple of other buried and forgotten vacs--my Electrolux Discovery Plus with onboard tool storage and my Filter Queen Majestic, which needs to say buried and forgotten.

Regarding your beautiful Electrolux XXX...

Do you ever use the top side of the rug tool? I’ve never quite figured out exactly what the purpose of that side is. I have the same machine, sans cordwinder and attachment companion (or caddy).

the top of the rug tool

<span style="font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;">....... when you flip it over, it concentrates the suction and you use it to pick up stubborn things like threads, etc.</span>
