I've had this crevice tool for awhile and have been wondering which brand of vacuum it goes with? The style is similar to the early Electrolux models but the neck is longer and the tool part is shorter. The color is a greyish-brown. Thanks for your time.

I am going to take a guess.....

maybe from the GE cylinder vacuum called the Air-Flo from the 1950's? I grew up with a brown version of one of these vacs, but was always hunting for the missing crevice tool which I could never find as a toddler. What do you guys think....am I way off here?

It's not cardboard.....

It's plastic--feels kind of like the crevice tools that went with the turquoise Electrolux model G's.

No it would have a beveled end at the end Also this one is tempered and the Fantom is basically completly straight.

Eureka! I found it for you!

Hi DFM: As I thought, this crevice tool is indeed from an old General Electric cylinder vac from the 1950's. It's called the Air-Flo. Just go to Doug Smith's wonderful webpage showing the model http://dkas1.50megs.com/GeneralElectric1.html. It's on the top right along with this exact crevice tool.

Thanks again Doug for providing such a wonderful resource for us......
