To many restorations in 2 months

Well I finally mostly finished this Montgomery ward. I bought a switch to wire up in the cord but I’m leaving it off for now. Wired in a new old style cloth cord directly to the motor and added some rubber hose as a stress reliever. Found a hose the right size that fits the cord snug and when the clam shell is screwed together, it clamps the hose and cord in place. Eventually I want to cut some rubber to fit around the front for the bumper but for now, I’m calling it quits. Also I need to wire a plug. Bench tested the motor though and it sounds great.

Just finished up another one. This time a Hoover model 69. Went fairly custom with this one. Polished out the aluminum base and steel handle but kept some white accents, pretty cool looking I think. The paint was beyond saving as it sat outside in the elements for many years so why not have some fun

Although I'm more used to seeing the base and handle painted white, that looks beautiful! Excellent restoration and customization job!
