VacuumLand – Vintage & Modern Vacuum Enthusiasts

Help Support VacuumLand:

That must be a special model made by Royal under contract with the supplier. Same thing with all the "Easy-Clean" commercial uprights.

In Portland, OR, the Stark's Vacuum Cleaners dealerships contracted with Royal to make a few exclusive models... these were Royals but with Stark's exclusive model numbers and trim packages.

Again, this Mercury Royal would date from no later than 1974. I know, because 1975 was the first year the updated, streamlined nozzle casting for the 801, 285 and 606 was used.

Interesting!

Add Mercury to the list of names of Royal rebadges I've never heard of! Wonder who sold them? Nice find!
