I'm thinking about throwing it away after having it for about a year. The previous owner sucked up wet dog hair with it after cleaning the vacuum and the tower filter with what smelled like bleach and even after I took it apart, cleaned it myself, and replaced the tower filter a year ago it still smells like Wet Dog and bleach. The last time I used it, which was in October I believe, I smelled something burning from the bottom (I'm guessing the brushroll motor is going out?) So I've recently considered throwing it out as it seems like no other collectors really like them and I don't want to ship it to anyone. I feel my time would be better spent buying another and better machine to replace it when I can afford to. Plus I feel it's too heavy and awkward and the suction is weak for a Windtunnel.

Any thoughts? Below is a picture

But that's only when they work!

This vacuum is a special case. You're lucky the brush system still works! Stick it in an attic or shed or something, years later, you or somebody else will glad you kept it for parts!

Vac up a vac fresher, shake n vac is really strong and I'm not sure if you have it but its available on Aamzon Uk
