Happy (Delayed) Halloween, everyone!

Although my art skills are terrible, KSSRC rang in the night with this festive pumpkin!

Vacuum cleaners produce within us an insatiable, hungry void, which can never be filled. Our house cleaning rituals gain evermore control over us...trying to expunge the foul darkness, the vulgar Dyson left behind. It left its ghastly droppings everywhere...And Oh Yeah! Happy belated Halloween, your only two days late, after all!

Now, I must VAMOOSE...Check you later!

Happy belated Halloween to all!

I dreaded it every day as it came closer, we get different neighbors every year. I sit out on the front stoop to hand out candy, and read between visits. I don't leave like some of the neighbors do, because I'm afraid I'd be the one to get tricked. I can't stay in the house with all the lights out because they all knock anyway. Plus, the two cats would try to escape.

Everybody who stopped was exceptional. Two or three bored teens were cordial, but didn't thank or wish me a Happy Halloween, but that beat the year the neighbor's friend said "thanks a lot-SUCKER!" The total highlight of the evening was when someone's young black cat with a pink rhinestone studded collar came over to say hello. Cats aren't safe outside around here, hope she went home.

I'm in River Park, the old section, they are trying to tear out Prima Vista Boulevard to turn it into strip centers and shopping, because all the poor little rich folks that live in St. Lucie West don't like driving past all these old houses to get to their million dollar estates. There are still the nice sections in the city, but the government in PSL changes zoning and various other things at the drop of the hat. Actually, there ARE homes in the $100,000+ class in River Park. If you still have contacts in your old neighborhood, ask what they think. Here are some shots of my area, two are old promo pictures.

I haven't been to PSL since the early 70's when my older bro (the good child) was playing in a golf tourney. Dad had rented a house for the weekend. If I recall correctly, I got left at home while m&d and bro went to the club for dinner and socializing!

arh1953, it sounds like next year you need to start handing out some yummy chocolate covered laxatives...it would be quite an explosive event for their little snotty tummies! Just maybe, and that's a big maybe, next year they will be more grateful, instead of wrongly thinking everything is owed to them, merely because they were born. Now, you must remember, they didn't ask to be born. It's all their parents fault, it's your fault, it's my fault, it's the world's fault!
