I helped Joe kassock with his annual garage sale. I brought the red Kirby tradition. All gone. All that's left in my house, now, is an Electrolux anniversary polisher/shampooed, a box of Kirby tools, and, an ancient Westinghouse upright. Going, going, gone.

No regulation in USA? If (not) true, then how would wattage actually improve the performance outright? All the modern cordless vacuum machines, especially Dyson's original main-equivalent (from V10 onwards; even the scape-goated V16 once you remove the unwanted power reduction), as @Vacuum Facts noted, uses their powers efficiently and effectively, through increasingly advanced cyclones, filtration systems (yes, sealed HEPA for the win!) and more efficient motors. (If you thinks about durability, then abuse is however even the most advanced Dyson machines clog and/or breaks down easily)

In practice, especially in real-world usage, Kirby would absolutely be crushed by even the dupes, let alone any of Dyson cordless. And THAT'S NOT GETTING INTO THE CORDED REALM!

That’s not true,
The tenny tiny stick vac motors will never out clean a Kirby. I know from experience.

You mean extremely big mess? Nah, I would rather go with the laboratory-equivalent at home.

Abuse your machine, and it will BREAK. @Vacuum Facts knows better, and so do I. I never mean to break any Dyson stuffs, except for... Forget it, just say Dyson is more durable and more performant than any Kirby. Even a mistaking-gimped unfixed V16 clean at least as well as the best of the best Kirby... (No, the vacuum, not the video game)

No,
I mean Kirby’s deep clean better. Dysons are fine for quick pick up’s. But there not ment to be your main vacuum.
