My bosses asked me today to take a look at their thermax vac "it wasnt working" so i went to thier house and got the machine and brought it out to my office to see if i could figure out what was wrong, the vacumm it self comes on fine, but the power head does not come on, i pluged it in directly to the vac and still nothing. i found a date on the motor in the power head dated in 2006? what are your thoughts? do u think its the motor, or could it be the wiring in the vac it self? Let me know what ya think?

Mystery solved
so i went and got my electric tester, power is going all the way to the motor, so i took the power head motor out, took it apart and one of the brushes was burnt, well it was completly gone! so i ordered a new motor, and a bunch of other things ive been needing to get!

how much was the motor? I'll bet that a hoover motor would work in that also because I would swear that is a hoover powerhead from the powermax canisters.
