Nice! That's position number: Kilo Indian Romeo Bravo Yankee - Indian Sierra - Bravo Echo Sierra Tango - 14, or for those who are not familiar with the NATO phonetic alphabet, the infamous _____-__-____ 14 position, first used in Kirby War II, when the Kirby's peaceful way of life was interrupted by the invading Dyson forces in 1962. Did I mention the Dysons time traveled in order to stop Kirbys before the new 2014 model brought Dyson to shame? Anyhow, it was a great war, yet only lasted 7 hours. Our allies, the Eurekas, the Hoovers, the GEs (along with Westinghouse, they served as air-enforcement), and the Lewyts. The big vacuums went off to fight for quality, reliability and performance, while the smaller vacuums stayed home and made a manufacturing boom. At the end of the war, the Kirby force stood on piles of shredded plastic. As the remaining fragments of the Dyson forced fled back to the future, victory was declared in the name of metal. All the vacuums that fought (except, of course, the Dysons!) Went home, as if Dysons could keep them from beating and sweeping (and there was a TON of that going on out in the battle field!) Glory. Victory of the war was possible thanks to the _____-__-____ 14 procedure! Captain Janitronic IV, accompanied by General Handisac and his two faithful Eureka guards, were walking toward their Military DeSoto, when suddenly an enemy Dyson launched a HEPA filter at Captain Janitronic IV (Captain Janitronic IV was one of the best commanders in Kirby history, he served in Kirby War I and the battle of Sweet-Aire before this)! One of the guards,a Eureka Automatic 260, launched himself in front of the projectile. The HEPA filter bounced off his shining chrome, leaving a small dent and scratch. The other guard began firing RD belts at the enemy Dyson. He was successful, the Dyson fell, it's cord and hose being sliced in half by the rubber belt. Both Eurekas were later rewarded the Golden Handi-Butler award, awarded only to those vacuums who commit great acts very greatly. The Dyson forces would not invade again until 2012.
Welp, that's today's history lesson! Hope you enjoyed the read, first person to decode the NATO phonetic alphabet message gets the Silver Miracle-Head award!
