Invasion of the Mutant Vacuum Cleaners

Some of y'all new folks may not have seen this yet -- as the Phantom of the Opera taunted, "Feast your eyes, gloat your soul on my accursed ugliness!"

Well I suppose it's not a bad thing if you're just looking for parts and pay little to nothing for it. Just don't charge extra for the "antiquing" LOL
I bought a can-opener last year or so off e-bay, was hard to tell in the pic but they said it worked well etc. Honestly I did have to pick it up with gloves on and throw it in the trash it was that grotty. I emailed the seller and told them how they could even think of sending it like that. Luckily they apologized and gave me my money back right away without my having to return it.

That first Electrolux above

granted has nothing in particular that's horrific with it, it's just the overall "grottiness" of it that I was talking about -- something about it just gave me the willies!

Admittedly I'm not too picky about old vacuums, sure i'd love mint condition or NIB vacuums, but in my neck of the woods you take what you can find ;] the way I see it as long as they're not a.) falling to bits b.) full of crap and c.)not working they're fine.

I think it was the bottom of the power nozzle that gave him the creeps, and it does look nasty under there.
