The Waring Futura 1000 NT-15 1249 Blender

I really don't know if there's much interest in vintage blenders here or not. I picked this up at a flea market last year for $4.99. It's a Waring Solid State Futura 1000. It has the automatic timer and 14 speeds. Anyone know anything about this model or when it was made? It has the cloverleaf jar and lid.

Judging from the color, I'd say late 60's into the 70's when avocado was popular. Think Brady Bunch era.

The Futura models came out in the the early thru mid 70's . That particular one was the top of the line model. The Custom series were in the mid to late 60's with the boxy shaped motor base like this
