It seems which all this band sings about is epic battles from history. Sabaton, with their hard rock, bellicose verve is, in fact,  able to express quite clearly some profound historical facts. Pretty good video link down below regarding King Charles Xll of Sweden - all set to, of course, with music furnished by Sabaton. It deals with a young and inexperienced king being besieged from all sides, by an evil axis of European powers, desirous in their dark imaginations to swallow up little Sweden. But unbeknown to them, Charles Xll ( Carolus Rex )  is, indeed, a military genius, which averts his nefarious adversaries' attempts to subjugate he and his fellow countrymen. Perhaps one of King Charles' most notable quotes is, " I have resolved never to start an unjust war but never to end a legitimate one except by defeating my enemies."  .....WOW!!!     



 
This band has been most painfully reminding me of someone as of late, that I was unable to place my finger on...That is, until now! It is Kurgan from the (1986) movie " Highlander ." Fits him just like a glove...There can be no doubt. "There can only be one!"
 
I sure hope your feeling better! It seems " Sabaton " Has stolen Thor's thunder and is using it for his voice! Man, what a powerful set of cords! This is probably one of their best video's.

 
Wow...Swedish jazz set to the swing, now that's pretty cool! Now for some more power rock, Sabaton's " Attero Dominatus!" I'm not a hard rock head by any stretch, but MAN, this band really rocks!!!
