VacuumLand – Vintage & Modern Vacuum Enthusiasts

I put some "vault" machines

in my room. I also put out a few brand new TTI items. Then, there were 'vintage' machines from everywhere.
Not being passive/aggressive... stating fact): It's been said that all of my cleaners are trash finds. Well, that, with numerous other tales, is untrue. That will go in the lie pile.
Not entertaining any of that.
But, we all must be careful what is said, repeated, written. Because people pay attention.

So, there will be lots of coverage in the "Post-Convention' newsletter
Time to start getting that ready.

Hi that looks really good fun now that big hoover is awesome iv seen the video of it been turned on but can it actually suck anything up

George,

The bag inflates and the beater bar rotates.
There are no brushes. There's also no dirt in the cloth bag inside the vinyl jacket, even after all those years.
So, no. It vacuums nothing. They were made as displays for "Home Shows" and the like. They were used all over the U.S. and, I'm told, abroad. It's over 10 feet high and weighs over 200 lbs. It takes 2 people to pack them, etc.

I thought it would be a nice touch t have it here in Scranton. Thanks, again, to Michael for bringing it.

It was really great to see it again.

Yes,

They made a 26, (the convention one started out as one), then, they made 28 (there's a photo of it next to a real 28.

They  made models like the Citation, 63..

Then, later, they made the Elite (the Convertible version).

There were probably a dozen made over the years.  They'd morph them into different models.  You can clearly see the wrong handle (bail) on this "Convertible".

There are also giant Constellations, too.
