If the person started emailing everyone in the group or posting daily, it would be time to limit their abilities and ask a few more questions of their true motivations.
Your response means you've been paying attention to all posts, which is good and attentive.
People when they first start collecting something that they've just realized interests them, tend to be a bit hysterical at first, I've found. Such a group can be validifying.
