The third, Hoover Convertible U4387

From the looks of it I am on a Hoover streak, this is the third Hoover to have come home with me in the last couple of weeks. Spotted this on Marketplace at a yard sale, and the lady helping her neighbor run the yard sale was kind enough to have it set aside for me. $5 later and a good clean, and she's happy as ever. Had to go around the bag mount as it was leaking from the exhaust, but I'm pretty sure that was a common issue with these plastic base machines? I had this exact model years ago when I really started collecting and ended up parting it out for some reason, not knowing just how good of a vacuum it really is. So I'm very pleased to have one again!
My repair job seems to be holding so far, if all else fails I'll take the bag off again and get creative

There's just something about the way these last generation Convertibles run that I just adore!

It seems to be a "fav" among the last generation, p

models.   I believe, if you collect Hoover, it is a 'must have' along with a 115,28,29,62,69,707, 1070..................including your model... to list just a few. They are all so 'iconic' points of the company.
